The job

To help us in developing new applications and improving existing applications, Fyber49 is looking for a motivated and versatile senior software engineer. Your responsibilities include the upkeep and maintenance of our applications, helping develop new features and programs, maintaining our IT infrastructure and providing IT assistance to your colleagues when needed. You will help improve our IT processes and translate our business requirements to IT solutions. The job is versatile, you will work on different projects while also managing and working together with a young and curious team of engineers and designers.

We are a specialized engineering consultancy firm active in the telecom industry. Our main activity is doing large scale network infrastructure roll-outs, for both mobile and FFTTx networks. Our holding is also active in other sectors such as Real Estate and manufacturing.

Our IT department focuses on creating highly customizable (web) applications and automation tools that support our various activities.

Functie eisen

The skills

You have a bachelor in an IT related field or equivalent through experience.
Experience in the full stack development of web applications using Node.JS
Experience in working with cloud solutions such as AWS and creating DevOps processes, such as CI/CD pipelines and automated tests.
Solving problems in an independent manner
You can speak Dutch or English
Proactive thinker and communicative

Nice to haves

Experience with one or more of the following (or similar) technologies: Svelte, Typescript, C#
Experience with meta-frameworks such as SvelteKit or Meteor
Experience with setting up databases and working with MongoDB, PostgreSQL and/or MySQL.
Having a portfolio of previous work.
Knowledge of web design and responsive design systems
