The role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Front End Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of front end development technologies, including hybrid mobile development (React Native).

For you, building front-ends is more than just writing code. No, it’s putting in that magic touch that makes our brand and products stand out. But most of all, you’re up for challenging yourself and others to create better front-end and UX experiences! Are you the one? Then don’t waste time and apply!

Your main responsibilities are

Develop and implement user-facing features using modern JS frameworks like Vue, React, Svelte, Angular, …
You speak TypeScript as fluently as your mother tongue.
Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and architectural guidelines. Collaborate with team members to identify and address areas for improvement.
Working together in a small, tight-knit team of professionals who share your motivation and knowledge/expertise
Thinking with a critical mind, taking responsibility, and improving yourself and your team (and why not even the whole company?)
To work in an agile, autonomous environment, and be willing to go beyond “traditional” boundaries

Sounds like a blast? Great. So, your main responsibilities would be...

Take business ownership of the current data environment (mainly a Postgres data warehouse with DBT and a cloud-native data lake on AWS)
Manage the current data environment and refactor it into a modern and future proof data solution
Define, monitor and follow up on operational processes, to ensure data is daily available
Apply software engineering best practices like unit testing and CI/CD to our data stack
Fully understand the operational data models and transform them into data structures suitable for reporting and analysis
Support our data analysts and provide them with the data they need in an easily accessible and understandable way
Make sure the data models are well defined, terminology is clear and understood and reports can be certified by your business counterparts
Take technical ownership of custom (Gen)AI solutions, from design to implementation, whenever they prove to deliver real added value
Be part of a small team of data engineers. Build bridges with your stakeholders and your team member

Because you’re the one...

Who acts and thinks on a master level.
Who has at least 5 years of experience in software engineering.
Who knows Vue.js, or any other modern MV* framework (React, Angular, Svelte, …).
Who is familiar with TypeScript, Node and bundlers (webpack, vite, …).
Who is proficient in more than one programming language, that would be nice.
Who takes pride in their work and always puts quality before quantity.
Who accepts challenges and gets things done, always keeping the bigger picture in mind.
Who has experience with (Native) Mobile Development (React Native is a plus).
Who’s fluent in English.
Who, after reading all this, says “This is it!”
