The company

The “Orde van Vlaamse Balies” and the “Ordre des Barreaux Francophones et Germanophone”, created the "Digital Platform for Attorneys" (DP-A).

DP-A created an online platform through which a Belgian lawyer can communicate digitally with courts, confreres and third parties. DP-A aims to serve 19.000 attorneys that are affiliated to the two professional organizations.

For the further expansion of DP-A we are looking for a Development Lead Java to join the DP-A Services team. In this position you will create and maintain software services for all Belgian lawyers.

Lead the DP-A Services team as a Scrum Master
Design, create and maintain DP-A Services in Java-Angular
Maintain the Application Architecture Framework of our software landscape

Over DPA

DPA is dé digitale partner van advocaten in België. Wij zijn het resultaat van een strategische samenwerking tussen de Orde van Vlaamse Balies (OVB) en de Ordre des barreaux francophones et germanophones de Belgique (Avocats.be). In februari 2018 werd een ambitieus protocol ondertekend om IT-oplossingen te ontwikkelen die de juridische sector efficiënter, veiliger en moderner maken.

Functie eisen

Profile

Bachelor’s degree, preferably in computer science (or equivalent through experience)
Experience: a minimum of 5 years work experience as a Java software developer
Familiar with Agile development philosophy and experience as a Scrum Master
Familiar with architecture and design principles in a cloud environment with macro services
Languages: Native speaker (C2) French or Dutch, with a good level of English (C1)
Self-organizing, curiosity and open mindset are part of your skills
Solution minded and focused: driven to getting things done
Making complex things simple
Design, quality assurance and documentation don’t scare you
