Task description

Create exciting Java and Javascript (mostly Angular) applications as a full stack developer for Linguineo and its customers, using the newest tools and tech. Dive into hands-on development as a consultant, crafting top-notch software that boosts our customers' business.

Over Linguineo

Linguineo is a small company providing software development services to various customers with in general a specific focus on conversational AI.

Besides providing software development services to enterprise clients, we develop niche conversational AI components (mostly for language learning), conversational games (Language Hero, Hubla and Ghost Handler) and conversational applications in-house.

Functie eisen

The position

The position is for consultancy work at our enterprise clients, although periods of working on in-house projects can be arranged (for example, 1 day per week on a constant basis, or for 6 months after doing 1 year of consultancy work), where you get the option to extend your skills. These periods can be centered around more full stack development or DevOps, but can also be used to get hands-on experience with real game development and/or AI model training.

You should:

Be experienced in enterprise Java development. At least 5 years with Java, Spring, REST, Hibernate and SQL.
Be experienced in Javascript development. At least 5 years with Angular or React.
Have hand-on experience with the offering of one of the big Cloud Providers (ideally AWS, but Azure or Google are fine too).
Be good at abstract thinking.
Speak English and Dutch fluently.
Be able to write qualitative code (quality over speed!).
Be enthusiastic and energetic.
Have a good working spirit.
Be able to work independently.
