In this pivotal role, you will be dedicated to expanding and enhancing our APIs, utilizing a powerful stack that includes Node.js, Nest.js, and GraphQL, all within the Azure cloud environment. Your responsibilities will involve developing scalable and efficient backend solutions, ensuring seamless integration with our front-end systems, and contributing to the continuous improvement of our platform's performance, security and reliability. Functie eisen

Responsibilities:

Design and implement scalable backend solutions.
Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements.
Develop and maintain GraphQL and RESTful APIs, ensuring efficient and flexible data retrieval.
Optimize application performance and ensure high availability and reliability.
Integrate security principles in your day-to-day operations.
Conduct code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of coding standards.
Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend best practices.

Your qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent through experience.
Knowledge of Node.js, Nest.js, GraphQL and RESTful API’s is a plus
Strong proficiency in cloud environments (e.g., Microsoft Azure)
Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., Postgresql, MongoDB). Knowledge of data related technologies is a plus. (e.g., Databricks, DBT)
Solid understanding of API design principles.
Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
Knowledge of version control systems, preferably Git.
Knowledge of Infrastructure-as-code systems (e.g., Terraform) is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
You are fluent in English, Dutch and/or French
